Psv/hgv Mechanic

We are looking for experienced and ambitious **Nights PSV Engineers **to join Arriva, based at our **Ware** Depot**.**

As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

**You will be required to cover 8 hour shifts starting from 5:30am, 06:30am, 10am and 2pm with £1.40ph extra for 2pm shifts and 5:30am shifts.**

As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

**The role will involve**:

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2/3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation) qualification
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
- Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical
