Several of our previous graduates have progressed into roles such as Transport Manager, General Manager, Account Director and even our Managing Director used to be a graduate So, the programme can really propel you into a senior leadership role.
On a day-to-day basis, your role will vary, and you’ll be a key part of the operation. That might include running the shift, updating your customer with key information, working with your team to meet operational targets, identifying solutions to operational challenges and providing daily leadership to your team of Drivers or warehouse operatives.
You’ll have the opportunity to get involved with lots of things, so we’re looking for graduates that say yes
**Pay, benefits and more**:
- A guaranteed job at the end of the scheme, working with the Learning and Development Manager and talent team to determine where you want to take your career
- A number of our placements give graduates the ability to engage with our colleagues in both Europe -, giving you the opportunity to work with different teams and widen your experiences and exposure
- Salary will start at £28,000 per annum and will rise to £29,000 per annum after 12 months
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days

**Key Info**:
- It's a 2-year programme offering three eight-month placements, giving new graduates, like you, the opportunity to gain tangible experiences in an inclusive and dynamic environment
- Your placements could be anywhere in the UK and you’ll be based on site, so you’re immersed in the job. When on placement, you’ll have roles such as Transport Shift Manager, Warehouse Team Leader, and Operations Manager
- We'll support your moves with hotel accommodation, until you find somewhere you’ll love living
- The programme is all about learning our business, so when you’re on placement, you’ll be supporting the business and our customers with projects such as looking at how we can be even more sustainable, continuous improvement initiatives or supporting the implementation of a new site

- Your Transport Manager CPC (a qualification that allows you to run a transport operation)
- Personal and professional development. Focusing on Leadership & Management training related to the job and other training that will be paramount for your success such as commercial awareness and managing challenging situations such as pay talks
- You can get personalised with your upskilling too, perhaps you’re interested in becoming a Mental Health First Aider or you want to focus on something you’re passionate about
- Full access to our own learning management system, XPO University which will inspire your ongoing development
**What you need to succeed at XPO**:
- Be a graduate
- Have a passion for logistics and not be afraid of hard work
- Be willing to travel across the UK throughout the programme and the possibility of travelling outside of the UK for an international placement
- Full UK Driving License
