Production Planner

We are looking for a Production Planner to plan and prioritise production output schedules through use of the company ERP system and related manufacturing/planning tools. Actively expediting/chases production orders throughout the site to ensure on timedelivery of supply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Progress chase all Production works orders and requirements throughout the site
- Issue manufacturing orders and plans the shop floor labour alongside current Production Coordinators and Production Supervisor
- Contribute to administrative tasks related to production planning; including labour booking, closure of works orders, cost comparisons
- Co-ordinates completion of finished goods to despatch
- Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of the materials planning forecast
- Quote lead time to supply of materials through to the customer service team
- Book scrap materials through the SAP system
- Update and maintain cell measures and KPIs ; actively participate in improvement plans related to these measures

Experience
- Experience working within manufacturing or engineering industry (preferable, not essential)
- Competent at Mathematics (required)
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system (preferably SAP but not essential)

This is a permanent position is offering a very competitive salary depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, good pension and health care.
