Nursery Cook

Little Pixies Nursery is situated just outside Nesscliffe (10 minutes from Shrewsbury & Oswestry). We are looking for someone to join our kitchen team. We are passionate about home-cooked, nutritional meals and like to provide a varied menu for the children.

You will work two mornings per week; this is a job share role, starting at 8:00am and finishing at 2:00pm 51 weeks of the year.

The holidays are the equivalent of 30 days on a pro rata basis. As it is a job share role some holiday and sickness cover will be expected.

No formal qualifications are required, however you should have a passion for cooking healthy, nutritious meals and be a competent ‘home cook’.

As part of the role you will ensure strict dietary requirements are met, maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and also adhere to our nursery and Shropshire Safer Food guidelines.

The job requires an enhanced DBS which will be paid for by Little Pixies.

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 13 per week
