**The role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, the Toolmaker will work at our Doncaster site working on a 5 day working shift pattern although non shift working may be considered. As the Toolmaker you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with tool and scheduled attainment taking into consideration any legal requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting shift toolmakers in maintaining tooling to maintain customer service and required OEE
- Involvement in tooling project work
- Carry out day to day toolmaking activity’s maintaining tooling availability
- Carry out proactive work including PPM and improvement work on extrusion and mould tools
- Involvement in long term projects on tooling
- Maintain maintenance monitoring
- Operate in line with all Wavin H&S Standards
- Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
- Help implement workplace organisation in engineering department
- Mentor Apprentices within the engineering department

**Profile**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the added need for flexibility as and when required
- Display effective organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
- Time served toolmaker with a strong technical knowledge in extrusion tools, Injection mould tools and general machining
