**About the role**

We are looking to recruit an experienced warehouse operator for the Plymouth operation who holds a current counterbalance forklift truck license & who has previous stores or material handling experience.

**As a Warehouse Operator, you'll be responsible for**:

- Loading and unloading of goods in a correct & safe manner
- Operating counterbalance forklift truck
- Accurately picking & packing materials for customer orders
- Ensuring that work ethics satisfy FIFO & stock accuracy
- Ensuring high quality of work is maintained
- Ensuring that all material are identified correctly
- Correcting administration of paperwork
- Updating ERP system on all material transactions
- Disposal of waste in the correct recyclable streams
- Daily checking on material handling equipment
- Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures
- Being fully conversant & compliant with all Environmental Health & Safety procedures
- Fully complying with all Quality, Environmental Health & Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Safety Commitments, RAMS etc.

**To be successful in the role, you should have**:

- Previous experience in the similar role
- Attention to details
- Understanding of stock control methods e.g. FIFO
- Good numerical and computer skills
