**ETL Developer - London (Hybrid) - £80K DOE**
**Position**: ETL Developer
**Location**: London (Hybrid working - Piccadilly Office - 3days a week)
**Salary**: £80,000 DOE

We are looking for enthusiastic ETL Developer to join one of Londons finest investment management companies with offices covering London, Singapore, New York, and Boston. They manage over £30bn of assets worldwide and are now expanding their data capabilitiesin pursuit of the goal of being the best in the industry.
The ETL Developer role is primarily responsible for providing design, build and test functions for building solutions to cater for the investment management lifecycle and other business functions within Pendal Group. Solutions primarily focus on enterprisedata management (EDM) and data quality of core investment data.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Design, build, test of extract, transform, load (ETL) solutions using Markit EDM and AWS Glue
- Liaise with lead architect and business solutions team in developing data integration solutions
- Liaise with key business stakeholders to understand business requirements and walk through testing solutions
- Active participation in Scrum teams
- Provide ongoing support for built solutions from the team and where necessary, follow-through with external service providers
- Provide support and peer review work for team members both offshore and onshore

**??We're looking for someone with**:

- Expert ETL development skills and knowledge
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL
- Enterprise Data Management or Master Data Management knowledge highly desirable, particularly experience using any of the following tools - Markit EDM (MEDM), GoldenSource, Matrix EDM, Eagle PACE, SimCorp Dimension or similar
- Knowledge of AWS technologies such as Glue, Redshift, Athena desirable
- Strong ability to autonomously translate business requirements to solutions
- Strong ability to communicate business requirements and solution designs with offshore teams

- Strong ability to facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders and communicate solutions in business language
- Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse concepts desirable
- Understanding of data management concepts such as master data/golden copy desirable
- Understanding of Investment Management, Financial Markets desirable
- Familiarity with a front office management system such as Charles River, Bloomberg or IRESS desirable
