**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your passion for hospitality and knowledge of food and beverage will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

**Duties**:

- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Upsell menu items by suggesting additional dishes or drinks to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while checking on guests’ satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and effective communication during busy periods.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to help colleagues when needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
