About the role...**
Working with an Area Manager/Team Leader and a team of Engineers to ensure workloads are fully planned as per utilisation target and that work scheduled meets clients Service Level Agreement (SLA’s).
Allocate work using the daily Workload v Schedule report to schedule via Siebel to a minimum of 4 weeks ahead adhering to Client SLA’s both Key and Non-Key as directed by Area Manager
- Ensure all assets scheduled into an activity are competency checked and locked - If an Engineer fails competency check and activity cannot be locked due to skill issues, release back onto the workload.
- Provide Scheduled Hours form within specified deadlines to Area Manager/Team Leader ensuring target scheduled hours are planned as per guidance (monitored through scheduled hours tab)
- All depot visits/static sites to be scheduled and locked minimum of 8 weeks ahead
- Weekly review on missed inspections (missed inspection sheet) monitored through Dashboard
- Accurately input data into Siebel and make adjustments as required
- Ensure all non-chargeable activities for holidays, sickness, training, medicals and technical support are scheduled in Siebel with time duration
- Monitor weekly Late Reporting and provide feedback on any issues concerns to the Planning Team Manager
- Work effectively with Area Managers and Team Leaders to ensure all Region KPI’s are met
- Provide a high level of service to clients by taking ownership of, and responding promptly to issues / queries and to ensure agreed client SLA’s are met
- Proactive approach to analysing data and putting forward recommendations for improvements
- In advance of annual leave ensure concise hand-over notes are provided to nominated Planner and Planning Team Manager
- Covering holiday/sickness and ad-hoc duties of any other team members as required by Planning Team Manager
- Support the Planning Team Manager on training of new colleagues
- Ensure any issues are escalated to Planning Team Manager and Regional Manager within 24 hours

Experience & Skills Required:
- Proficient in IT, MS Excel and in-house systems such as Siebel.
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Focused on the delivery of exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with operational teams as well as wider business support teams
- Displays initiative and approaches challenges logically and methodically
- Positive attitude towards change and process improvement
- Flexibility to deal with multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy and high quality of work
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good geographical awareness.
