Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification

Experience of working in a childcare setting and caring for babies and toddlers

Experience of directing room based staff

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Som of the Room leader responsibilities will include:

- Providing stimulating age appropriate activities for babies and toddlers both indoors and outdoors
- Directing room based staff
- Working to EYFS, statutory framework and promoting equal opportunity
- Key worker responsibilities, completing children’s learning journals and nursery documentation
- Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
- Working to Safeguarding, Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
- Attending parent’s evenings and supporting open days
- Attending staff meetings and training as required
- Working 40 hours per week
