**Assembler/Calibrator**
**6 Month Initial Contract**
**Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 1pm**
**Fareham**
**Our client is a large, well-respected, and growing manufacturing business within the aviation division. They are looking for an experienced mechanical Assembler/Calibrator with strong manual dexterity skills and can competently read drawings in linewith the intricate mechanical assembly work of aerospace components.**Assembler/Calibrator**
- Perform a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures
- Diagnose, repair and overhaul mechanical instrumentation to component level
- To calibrate and conduct test routines as well as carry out fault finding activities

**Assembler/Calibrator**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Confident with precision mechanical assembly
- Able to read technical drawings and diagrams
- Familiar with the use of a wide range of mechanical hand tools
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Engineering, or proven experience in a similar assembly field

**Assembler/Calibrator**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Experience with soldering
- Aerospace or safety critical component experience
