In addition to holding a degree and a professional planning qualification giving eligibility for full membership of the RTPI you will have;
- Excellent knowledge of the planning system, policies and procedures, and extensive experience of dealing with a wide range of planning proposals
- Strong negotiation, decision making and judgement skills
- Some experience of managing staff
- The ability to motivate and lead staff, setting clear objectives to achieve good customer service and performance management

Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
