Gardener

Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a **Gardener **who have a can-do attitude and who will join an existing team working at **Hall Farm Nursery, RM14 3QH**.

**Job Purpose**

As a **Gardener**, you will be working ‘hands-on’ with a small team to provide a **top-class horticultural environment** for our clients. You will be working ‘hands-on’ with a team of gardeners to provide a top-class horticultural environment to our clients. You must be able to demonstrate an interest in horticultural together with some horticultural skills and experience - ideally from within a similar environment. Duties include Watering bedding displays, troughs and window boxes, grass and hedge cutting, shrub bed maintenance, weed control of hard surfaces and litter-picking.

**Skills and experiences**:

- Passionate about the **environment** with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to confidently work independently
- NVQ or Diploma Level 2 **Horticulture / Landscaping** (or equivalent)
- Spraying Certificates - **NPTC PA1 & PA6 **preferable
- Experience in Corporate and/or Local Authority Grounds Maintenance preferred, but not essential
- Experience with using petrol two-stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential
- Experience with **ride on** grass-cutting equipment and **tractor **driving is preferable but not essential
- Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
