We are looking for a housekeeper to help us out on a weekly basis.

We have recently taken on a large farmhouse and require regular help keeping it cleaned and maintained. The house will be going through some big renovations over the next year or two and so there is likely to be a lot of dust etc. It hasn't been used as a family home for many years so we are bringing it back to life, with this comes some unusual cleaning (behind shutters that we unstick, on stairs that we uncover and under flooring that we lift). Over time the cleaning will settle into a routine.

Usual duties will include hoover and mopping of floors, regular bathroom and kitchen cleans, dusting in the living areas and dining rooms as well as bedroom change overs. Changing over bed linen and towels etc. and weekly ironing.

We love hosting and are hoping to start our family soon. Ideally looking for someone who can stay with us for many years and adapt as our family grows.

We have two lively spaniels in the house, they come with us to work most days but you must be comfortable around dogs. You'll be working on your own most of the time.
