**Job Summary**: As a Baggage Hall Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the baggage handling area, ensuring efficient and timely processing of luggage while maintaining safety and service quality standards. You will lead a team of baggage handlers, coordinate with other airport departments, and manage operational challenges to deliver exceptional service to our airline partners and passengers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of baggage handlers.
- Schedule shifts and manage attendance to ensure adequate staffing.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- **Operational Management**:

- Oversee the loading, unloading, sorting, and transportation of baggage.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Liaise with airline representatives, ground handling teams, and other airport departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels within the team and with external partners.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit operational reports, incident logs, and performance metrics.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary to improve service delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience in airport operations, particularly in baggage handling or a similar environment.**:

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software.
- Flexibility to work shifts.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Certification in aviation safety or related field.
- First aid and emergency response training.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy baggage items.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
