Inventory and Release Team Analyst

**We're looking for an Inventory and Release team Analyst to join us in Bradford.**

**JOB PURPOSE**

You will be responsible for updating and maintaining network and premise inventory and driving standard methodology processes within the Inventory and Release Team to ensure the records held in our inventory systems accurately reflect changes made to thephysical network, as well as homes passed (serviceable premises) in a timely and efficient manner.

It will be your responsibility as Data Analyst to support Virgin Media’s Network Expansion Programme and other high-profile projects through digital transformation and automation opportunities, to ensure we provide the most efficient, cost-effective Inventorymanagement service to our clients.

You’ll help mentor and develop administrators in the team and work with the Operational Senior Manager in all processes, and be the first point of escalation for collaborator queries.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Becoming the initial point of contact for query management and critical issues
- Promote a strong performance, ensuring alignment and delivery of the objectives of the business
- Capturing and analysing data to provide insight on difficulties within the process which require attention.
- Responsible for supplying innovative ideas and leading smaller transformation projects on behalf of the team.
- Providing domain expertise on Network and Premise Inventory data and collaborating across multiple customer groups to deliver end-to-end process improvements.
- Process high volumes of sophisticated inventory data
- Maintaining Network and Premise Inventory data by identifying and investigating discrepancies or inaccuracies, resolving root cause, calling out issues and implementing agreed actions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant internal standards and regulatory standards, processes, and procedures, calling out risks if they arise.
- Supporting the transformation of processes by preparing and maintaining process and training documentation.

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**

**We tend to look for people with**:
Preferred:

- Previous experience in mentoring and delivering volume processes
- Strong verbal, written and numerical communication and influencing skills with the ability to lead and facilitate meaningful relationships
- Ability to handle sophisticated data using various IT Systems
- Has skills for using IT and a diverse range of transactional processing systems
- Sharp focus on how team work can be done differently with automation.
- Ability to influence stakeholder groups to deliver process change.
- Excellent solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

Desirable:

- Telco sector experience
- Experience of Lean or 6 Sigma methodologies.
