Since becoming part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in January 2024, Whitehill Community Academy has been on a rapid journey of improvement. These transformational changes mean that it is an exciting time to join the academy, we are incredibly proud of our successes, and we are looking for the best people to work alongside our already committed team to continue our journey.

All these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and Whitehill Community Academy now wishes to appoint a Curriculum Cover. In this role you will work undertake class supervision for whole classes, delivering prepared work, under guidance and support of the classroom teacher.

This would make an ideal position for anyone that is considering teaching as a career and wanting to gain some experience before starting their training; potentially within one of the schools within our multi academy trust. As part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, we have close links to the Trinity Institute of Education, which provides numerous routes into the profession.

What we need:

- 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at C or better, including English and Maths.
- Proficient use of technology, (PC, internet, MS Office packages) and understanding its use in supporting effective teaching and learning.
- Experience of teaching (or other relevant learning environments), covering groups or whole classes.
- Basic experience of planning, either for lessons or for extra-curricular activities.
- Basic experience of assessing pupil progress and contributing to assessment processes.
