Senior Immunologist

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Immunologist to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Stevenage on a contract basis for 12 months.
**Salary**:
Per hour: £21.75

**Senior Immunologist Role**:

- You will contribute to the validation, characterisation and progression of novel targets and therapeutics to treat intestinal and skin diseases.
- Support ongoing target validation assays and establish novel assays to evaluate target biology in immune and/or epithelial cells.
- Maintain knowledge of developments in the field and adapting/initiating work plans in response to emergent data.
- Engagement and sharing expertise with wider Immunology Research Unit.

**Your Background**:

- Science graduate with additional research experience or new PhD in Immunology/ Cell Biology or a related discipline.
- Experienced with isolation of primary human immune cells or primary epithelial cell cultures.
- Experienced in several immunological assays to support target validation e.g flow cytometry, RNA expression analysis, biochemical analysis of signalling intermediates, measurement of inflammatory mediators using MSD/ELISA, imaging).
- Experience with primary keratinocyte or skin cultures is preferred.
- Comprehensive expertise in experimental design, execution and analysis.
