Advert

People make Sage great. From our colleagues delivering ground-breaking solutions to the customers who use them: people have helped us grow for more than thirty years, and people are driving our future as a great SaaS company. We're writing our next chapter. Be part of it

At Sage, we recognize that the world of work has rapidly shifted over the last few years, particularly how we work. That is why we have committed to working in a hybrid way going forward. Human connection is an essential ingredient of the 4 principles that make up our Flexible Human Work hybrid framework and we want to be transparent in what that looks like when you join our Sage family. On one hand, our offices will continue to play an important role in our future and serve as a place for spontaneous conversations, connection, collaboration as well as focused time. On the other hand, we have learned to reimagine where and when we work and to unlock that flexibility and innovation for our colleagues offering them the opportunity to work flex across their home, Sage offices or customer sites.

**Job Description**:
The purpose of this role is to provide an expert technical service to prospective customers who perform information security and due diligence reviews of Sage cloud products. The primary vehicle for this is through the maintenance of a technical knowledgebase (via a system called OMBUD), using it to respond to RFI’s, queries and proposals.

The breadth of knowledge covers:

- Product technical capabilities, e.g. SSO, encryption, integration, performance etc
- Platform information security
- Corporate information security
- Corporate policies
- Due diligence

In addition to the above, proactive collateral such as tech-sheets will be produced and maintained.
- Is technically astute and able to distil complex themes into a clear narrative
- Enjoys writing and working fast when required
- Has a desire to become an AWS and Salesforce platform knowledge expert
- Seeks innovation and continual improvement

There are excellent career pathways through Proposals, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Product, SecOps and more. Further, 20% of the role is dedicated to personal development projects, so it represents an excellent opportunity to take advantage of resources such as LinkedIn Learning and Salesforce Trailhead. Being a service to the Sales Team means that this role has a competitive base salary and attracts a generous commission element on top.

Key Responsibilities
- Application of a content management strategy to maintain a technical and commercial knowledgebase
- Responding to technical aspects of RFI's, due-dil questionnaires and ad-hoc queries
- Contributing to technical proposal content
- Developing proactive technology assets

The role has tremendous capacity to extend in influence, based on capability and desire to innovate.
