**Our Role**

As a Mechanical or Electrical Team, you will be working on the South West Water contract. Working to meet the needs of the client and their customers in the most cost-effective manner, whilst working with your team. You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to South West Water customers.

You will be competent on working within various treatment works undertaking reactive activity on assets. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your teams on completing work right first time.

You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as the management of the business and client database systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

We are looking for a team to:

- Be capable of various electrical or mechanical activity on site. This could include but not be limited to:

- Valve or penstock replacements
- Various misc pipework upgrades
- Minor chemical dosing line amendments
- Minor electrical works to equipment on site
- Minor control panel checks and interventions required
- Any knowledge of SCADA, telemetry or commissioning processes a bonus
- Occasional out of hours response for faults/alarms
- Make sure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practise procedures
- Ensure that all activities associated with the job are carried out according to SSoW procedures. Identify areas that can be improved and report to Team Leader/Site Agent
- Liaise with Supervisor to ensure works are completed effectively
- Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out - to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of vehicle and the safety of the driver and passenger
- Promote positive company image whilst at work (via wearing of company PPE/clothing, attitude, and site cleanliness)
- Adhere to time keeping
- Maintain the highest customer standards whilst on site
- Comply with all health & Safety and water environmental standards

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Full valid driving licence
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card
- Manual handling training
- Abrasive Wheel
- Appropriate Mechanical /Electrical accrediations
- Confined Space Level 2
