Cobra Engineering (UK) Ltd is a leading supplier of mechanical engineering services, fabrications, architectural steelwork, and equipment to major UK companies in the food processing, water treatment, and civil engineering industries. We have well-equipped,purpose-built workshops based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire and we work on sites both locally and throughout the country.

Due to our continued success, we are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to work alongside our Project Managers. You will be responsible for assisting projects, ordering materials, and dealing with technical reviews and administration to ensure projectsrun smoothly from enquiry to completion.

**What will your role as a Project Engineer look like?**
- To take our manufacturing and installation drawings, order all necessary materials, fixings, coatings, and calculations, produce all necessary documentation, and generate manufacturing, delivery, and installation packs.
- Complete material take-offs from our manufacturing drawings.
- Complete bolt lists from our manufacturing and installation drawings.
- Order materials for manufacturing work.
- Order coatings for manufacturing work.
- Complete CE paperwork for manufacturing work.
- Liaise with our Engineers to provide supporting calculations for our designs where required.
- Put together manufacturing, delivery, and installation packs.
- Maintain stock manufactured components.
- Complete 2d drawings (Knowledge of Solidworks 3d drawing desirable).
- Support Project managers with enquiries.
- Take a flexible approach to your work and support the rest of the team as required in order that we succeed.
- Support Project Managers with additional enquires when required, desk top tasks including pricing materials for an enquiry when in a position to do so.
- Assist the design office when they require support due to workload, producing 2d drawings and CE weld maps for live jobs when in a position to do so.
- Assist Contracts manager with day-to-day planning of workload.

- Liaise with: Project Managers, Design Office managers, Design Engineers, and Production Manager.
