Home-School Tutoring West Yorkshire is an established and successful local tutoring company with a focus on providing personalised tuition designed to maximise student potential in a patient and supportive way. We use local tutors even for our online tutoring. Our local tutors know the West Yorkshire area; they know the local schools and they want to contribute to providing an excellent local service.

We are currently looking for a primary tutor who would be able to provide 1:1 in-person tuition to primary children in their own homes. A specialism in Early Years and Key Stage 1 would be preferred. We currently have open requests for **tutors in West Leeds and Wakefield**. There is the possibility to take on multiple students per week, if desired. We have open requests for daytime home education and for evening work.

You will ideally be a **fully qualified teacher** with experience of teaching at **primary level** and preferably with a good working knowledge of **phonics **and **early maths skills**. You may be wanting only a small amount of supplementary income on top of your current teaching role or you may have the capacity to take on more tutoring work if you are no longer teaching in a school setting. Either way, we would be delighted to hear from you to let you know more about how we work and answer any questions you may have.

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- Minimum 2 years primary teaching experience
- Minimum BA(Hons)

We cannot offer any set amount of work. You will be able to maintain full control of your own schedule as a self-employed tutor. We offer you the opportunity for flexible working, and there will be no obligation placed upon you to accept work we offer you.

**Salary**: £23.00-£28.00 per hour
