Nightingale visit people in their own homes to try and keep them as independent as possible. Being a care assistant means you need to be able to adaptable,personable but ultimately put others first your role may include:

- _Personal care_
- _Preparing and cooking meals_
- _Companionship_
- _Helping with house work_
- _Giving or overseeing medication_

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED AS FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED AND PAID FOR OVER A 3 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD. All we need from you is the desire to care for others, we can teach you the rest. being a care assistant isnt always the easiest of jobs but for someone with compassion,kindness and empathy we can promise that it will be one of the most rewarding.

Nightingale use a system for doing the rotas and communicating with service user family's, staff and the office. The system is used to log in and out of services users calls, write notes and provided information regarding service users specific needs, its also used to plan your runs in your local area. We have a wide range of shifts to offer to suit your life style, see below for examples.
- _Evening runs from 6pm to 10pm - This could be from 1 evening run to 5 per week_
- _Mornings & Lunch runs_
- _Tea & Evening runs_
- _Evenings and every other weekend_
- _Just weekends or every other_
- _get your hours in over 2,3 or even 4 days._

**Please note that you would be required to work every other weekend within your availability, WHEN ITS YOUR WEEKEND TO WORK YOU GET DAYS OFF IN THE WEEK** **we will try to work around childcare, college and university etc.**

- _£10.70 per hour WE ALSO PAY 20p PER MILE FOR TRAVEL_
- _You must have your own transportation to get to your calls. E.G. Car, Bus, Bike etc_
- _Double time is paid for Christmas, New Year, Good Friday, Easter Monday Other bank holidays are paid at time and half_
- _Holiday pay_
- _Full training given NO EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED_
- _Any meetings attended are paid_
- _Free DBS check_
- _Free Uniform_
- _Monthly Pay 21st of the month _
