**What We're Looking For/ Responsibilities**:

- **Knowledge**:An in-depth understanding of coffee, including its origins, varieties, and the impact of different growing regions on flavor profiles. A strong familiarity with a wide range of brewing methods is essential, from espresso to pour-over, cold brew and cold drip, with the ability to adapt techniques to elevate coffee quality. The Head Barista should be knowledgeable about the science of coffee extraction, grind sizes, and water quality, ensuring consistency in every cup. Passion for specialty coffee, along with an eagerness to educate and train staff on coffee origins and brewing techniques, is essential.
- **A Leader**: You’ll be the guiding force behind our coffee team, leading by example, inspiring others, and ensuring that every cup meets our high standards. You know how to motivate a team to give their best, even on the busiest days.
- **Master of the Equipment**: You take pride in maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the longevity of our coffee machines and tools. You know that top-tier equipment leads to top-tier coffee. You will need to clean and inspect grinders frequently.
- **Organized & Efficient**: Whether it’s keeping the station spotless, managing inventory, or setting up workflow, you understand the importance of a tidy, well-organized workspace in creating efficiency and maintaining high quality.
- **Quick to Learn & Adapt**: In the world of specialty coffee, there’s always something new to learn. You’re eager to absorb knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and new trends, and you’re excited to share that knowledge with the team.
