**MLOps Engineer - (REMOTE) Machine Learning / Devops**

Remote (UK preferred)

This is a newly-created Machine Learning opportunity for a MLOps Engineer, to join a the Technology R&D team of a Global Engineering organisation as part of their mission to deliver their Intelligent Infrastructure (IoT) program to revolutionise the Civil Engineeringindustry.

The R&D team are a group of passionate technologists specialising across Software Engineering, Devops, IoT and Data Science and operate with the autonomy of a startup, but with the financial backing of a Global business - the best of both worlds.

Working closely with both Data Science & Devops Leads, your responsibility will bridge across proof of concept development (Data Science) and product maintenance (Devops); therefore both theoretical knowledge and commercial experience in a similar role.

**Key experience ideally required**:

- Experience deploying ML into production sytems
- Experience with Spark/Databricks (preferred), Apache Airflow, Hadoop or similar
- Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Data lake technology (e.g. Azure Data Lake)
- Experience with MQTT, HDF5 and other data transmission / storage protocols
- CI/CD
- ETL/ELT
- Cloud platforms / Devops (AWS or Azure)
- Containerisation (Kubernetes / Docker)
- Python or C#

Nice to have
- Message passing or event sourcing experience
- Experience in civil engineering.
- Scaling tech e.g. Redis
