**Job Description Summary**: The Lead Finance Specialist will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for GE Caledonian, as well as supporting operational budget holders to meet KPI's.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing the business cycle - 3 year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization.
- Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization.
- Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
- Responsible for closing and reporting deliverables to HQ, in Cincinnati, US.
- Utilises in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Leading lean projects to drive continuous improvement in processes.
- Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.
- Has ability to prioritise information for data analysis.
- Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
- Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Supporting operational budget holders to meet KPI's.

**Required Qualifications**:

- This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations.
- Degree qualified in accounting and finance or comparable degree.
- Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others.
- Strong proficiency in excel and other Microsoft office programmes.

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Experience in an ERP System (eg. SAP) would be advantageous.
