Cover Supervisors - Brighton & Hove

Prospero Teaching are working with a number of secondary schools in Brighton and Hove and we have some exceptional opportunities for those who are looking to gain school based, classroom experience

These exciting roles are designed to support those who are keen to kick start a career in teaching and will offer you full based class experience, giving you the chance to truly fine tune your behaviour management skills.

The Role:
These roles are on a temporary basis and will see you working with different classes throughout the day. As a Cover Supervisor, you're not expected to teach, plan or mark any of the work, but you will be required to manage behaviour effectively as the pupilswork through pre-planned lessons.

Flexible and adaptable are key elements to being successful in this role as Cover Supervisor.

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

You must have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people and a degree of 2:1 or higher is desirable.

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
