Working as an Associate Implementation Consultant within the Professional Services Department of Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), specialising in the delivery of our manufacturing software solutions, you will enable customers to use K8LV functionality to successfully run (trade) their day-to-day business.
Implementations of the K8LV software are a mix of consultant led engagements for smaller sites, planning and scheduling project dates directly with the customer, in addition to working with a Project Manager for larger sites who will plan the implementation dates and complete project phase sign off.
You will assist in the demonstration, business discovery, system configuration, training and implementation of the trading and finance modules within the K8LV system, delivering these services both on site and remotely via Microsoft Teams.
The Consultant’s role is an independent, customer location based role, where you will be required to follow our corporate Consultant Charter to deliver consultancy services to our customers, taking direction from the Delivery Lead and Project Management team.
You will liaise with other departments and customers during the implementation and will be involved with working with our in-house Development team to produce detailed, accurate system specifications or undertake system testing

**Key Responsibilities**:
- To acquire knowledge of the trading, manufacturing & financial specific software modules used by customers, to provide assistance accordingly.
- To acquire a good knowledge of common manufacturing processes to provide consultancy to customers as required.
- To assist the lead consultants with the implementation and configuration of the K8LV system.
- To assist the lead consultants with the delivery of K8LV Core Module user training.
- To provide User Acceptance Testing support to customers implementing the K8LV system.
- To resolve, or assist in the resolution, of customer system queries arising from the implementation.
- To liaise with the customers to define, or help define, specifications for modifications to the software related to the implementation of a system.
- Production and submission of consultancy documentation in line with company procedures and submitted in a timely manner.
- To complete the required training to develop the necessary soft skills required to become a competent software Implementation Consultant.

**Essential**
- A desire to learn quickly and demonstrate a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills to deliver high quality end user training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and producing high quality consultancy documents i.e. Visit Forms, Visit Notes and business cases including business discovery and producing system specifications.
- Excellent customer service and customer facing skills to work alongside customers on and off site
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong prioritising and problem solving skills, with a solution driven outlook.
- Demonstratable team working skills
- Driving license for travel to KCS Offices and Customer sites
**Desirable**
- Experience of working at different customer locations within the UK.
- An understanding of the day-to-day elements of a manufacturing & production system and flow of Works Order Processing.
- Working knowledge of trading ERP business processes and procedures, including day-to-day transactions, month end and yearend activities.
- An understanding of financial operations and associated reporting.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of at least one area of expertise within a Trading system.
- An understanding of SQL scripting, Internet Information Services (IIS) or C#.
