We are actively looking for a **Mechanical Estimator** to join our team

**Key Responsibilities**
- Sending/receiving enquiries to/from suppliers & specialist sub-contractors
- Preparing take-offs from drawings
- Inputting take offs and quotations on to Estimating software
- Accessing and linking information on 4Projects
- Preparation of tender price
- Attending Mid-tender review meetings with Clients (Ireland & UK)
- Presentation of tender to Estimating/Bid Manager for approval prior to submittal
- Detailed tender submission
- Post tender review meetings with Clients (Ireland & UK)
- Detailed tender handover report to Project Delivery Team

**Person Specification**

**Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- 5+ GCSE’s (Grade C & above)

**Experience & Knowledge**

**Essential**:

- 3+ years’ estimating experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
- Experience using estimating software

**Desirable**:

- Experience in attending mid/post tender review meetings

**Abilities & Skills**

**Essential**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to deliver high quality work within strict time frames
- Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team
- Be able to work under tight deadline & schedules
- Willing to travel to Ireland and the UK for client meetings
