St Martha’s Mental Health Unit is a locked mental health unit located in the New Forest for both women and men aged 55 with a diagnosed mental health condition. We are part of the St Magnus community who recently received an outstanding from the CQC and we are looking to recruit team members who want to continue that ethos.

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic, dedicated Housekeepers. The role would include:

- Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to company standards. Cleaning responsibilities can be anywhere within the Unit.
- Ensure all daily and deep clean schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored safely and used correctly. Report any defects to Head Housekeeper.
- To be sensitive to the privacy and dignity of the service users and their individual needs.
- To comply with COSHH regulations.
- To adhere to infection control policies at all times.
- To ensure correct use of PPE.
- To ensure all necessary documentation is completely daily.
- To carry out any other domestic related duties as requested by the Head Housekeeper.
- To ensure correct cleaning products are used for specific areas and follow the colour coded systems within the unit.
- To ensure the trolley’s are restocked at the end of the shift and cleaning cupboards are kept clean and tidy.
- To ensure good communication between the post holder, the Head Housekeeper, the ward teams and the service users.

Part and Full time hours available.
