The Old Tile Works Restaurant

We are looking for a **pot washer **to join our back of house team within our fast-paced kitchen. You will be expected to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen ensure that it is clean, safe, and hygienic.

The Old Tile Works is an expanding family run business, part of The Humberbridge Garden Centre, located on the outskirts of Barton upon Humber next to the Humber Bridge.

We are open seven days a week, offering all day dining from breakfast to lunch as well as afternoon tea, coffee, and cake.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Cleaning of all crockery and cutlery using the commercial dishwasher, general cleaning and hygiene work.
- Putting stock away
- To maintain a high standard of personal and food hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations.
- This list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other duties from time to time to meet the needs of the business._

**Requirements**_:_
- Willing to undertake appropriate training.
- Be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative and also be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Be capable of moderate physical activity, i.e. loading dishwasher, carrying trays, lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Willing and able to be flexible in working hours and duties.
- To be reliable.
- The ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently with little to no breakages.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- Experience in a fast-paced busy kitchen would be preferred.
- The ability to follow instructions.
