**Production Operator**:

- Brazing & Welding -This title does not limit your duties, and the company may require you, from time to time, to carry out any work within your capability.

**Role Purpose**:The purpose of a Production Operator role is to join or assemble metal components by heating and melting metal parts together with a torch. Operators must be precise and have a strong knowledge of metalworking to ensure that the parts are joined securely. They must also be able to work safely when working with heat and wear all necessary safety equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use hand & power tools to assemble and fabricate products.
- Perform brazing or welding tasks, including stick welding and brazing.
- Operate machinery to cut and shape sheet metal
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

**Duties**:
Prepare brazing / welding material & equipment, assemble components and brazing / welding parts, ensure quality of brazed components, maintain and repair brazing / welding equipment, Inspect and test brazed / welded parts.

**Skills**:
Ability to read and interpret drawings / sketches, ability to use appropriate brazing & welding equipment, knowledge of metallurgy and heat-treating, excellent hand-eye coordination, high level of attention to detail, knowledge of brazing / welding techniques, proficiency in using hand tools, ability to work independently, ability to work as part of a team and have good communication skills.

Monday - Thursday: 7.45am to 16.30pm - Friday - 7.45am to 13.45pm.

The company reserves the right to vary these hours should operational needs require it.

You are entitled to total of 25 days annual holidays each holiday year. This added to your 8 Public Holidays gives a total of 33 of these 5 days must be taken in the first half of the year. 5 days in the second half. 10 days in the months of June, July and August. 8 days taken during the Christmas shutdown.

Pension - The company operates a Group Personal Pension Plan.

Pay: £11.91-£13.44 per hour
