This role is offered at Part Time Hours of 20.75 a week.
Monday to Sunday on a rostered basis that cover the Terminal opening hours of 06:30 to 20:15.

The position of the Customer Services Advisor incorporates Facilities Management services and Customer Services in an active role where daily inspections, procedures and duties are carried out to the Facilities Management contract specifications at Kirkwall Airport.
The role of Customer Services Advisor will include but not be limited to the following operational areas:
- Provide a supportive role to the Facilities Management Supervisor:
- Complete certain tasks, activities and projects organised in connection with Kirkwall Airport.
- Assist and contribute to maintaining the close working relationship with our client
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Identify, investigate and report issues in relation to Maintenance, Customer services and Airport Facilities and escalate and resolve to a satisfactory conclusion
- It is expected that, from time to time, the acquisition of additional shifts over and above the rostered shift pattern will be required in order to assist in covering annual leave / absence.
- Disruptions to scheduled working hours can result due to weather delays and airline / airport operational issues
- Assist in the provision of First Aid to situations as a qualified first Aider.
- Contribute towards the completion of Daily and Weekly tasks generated on a work schedule.
- Participate in on-call rota

**QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING**
**Essential**
**Education**
English and Maths to a certificated level
**Driving Licence**
Applicant must be in the position of a clean UK Driving Licence.
**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
**Essential**
**Computer literacy**
- Ability to perform and record tasks on word / excel
- Utilising the Internet
- Book / Diary events, meetings etc
**Cash Handling**
Experience in record keeping / banking
**Customer Services**
Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry / front facing customer services
**Desirable**
It is desirable but not essential that you have experience in the following fields:
**First Aid**
Previous qualification / training in First Response / First Aid role
**Team / Leadership Role**
Previous supervisory / Training role.
Ability to Identify, perform and pass on tasks / instruction within a team environment
**Experience in Aviation**
Work within the Aviation Industry / Airport environment
**Microsoft Office suite**:
Ability to create documents and perform tasks on Microsoft Word / Excel
