- We’re looking for a Stores Supervisor to join our Fleet and Logistics Team where you will be responsible for making sure our support and services are timely, fit for purpose and measurable and retain a focus on positive outcomes for our clients in delivering services to the public.
- You will plan, implement, and control the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of materials, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the customers’ requirements. You will engage with clients, to continue to improve the service delivery in the implantation of the service catalogue and associated key performance.
- In addition, you will be pivotal in leading a team of Stores Assistants including supporting their performance and development and driving forward a positive and inclusive culture.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ordering, receipting, issuing and management of stock levels in line with the service requirements and contributing to or undertaking regular and ad hoc stocktakes.
- Ensure the service offering meets current and future business needs.
- Deliver services in accordance with agreed standards including KPIs and SLAs
- Contribute to the delivery of ongoing process and service improvements including developing maintaining and reviewing practice and processes.
- Ensure the provision of accurate, relevant, and timely logístical and financial data in relation to supply of clothing and equipment.
- Lead and undertake research or project work.
- Manage day to day enquires and provide advice or guidance to internal colleagues and external services.
- Ensure the team are working safely and in line with Health and Safety.
**To be successful you will**:
- Be talented in using various IT systems including Microsoft Office.
- Have a passion for communicating with a range of diverse customers across and enjoy building and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Experience in stocktaking, procurement and/or stock management as well as either a relevant qualification/s in logistics or experience of delivering high quality customer
- support.
- Supervisor/Team Leader experience.
- Hold a valid driving licence.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Be a proactive problem solver.
- Be able produce accurate data and information when required.
