Our client based in New Milton urgently requires an experienced 3.5-tonne van driver / general assistant to join their busy manufacturing team.
Applicants will be required to make deliveries across the country, delivering a range of the company’s products to customers. This is a manual role that will require regular lifting and moving. You will be van driving most of the time, however, when you arenot you will be asked to help the manufacturing and stores teams with general day-to-day tasks.
Applicants will ideally have recent van driving experience, both short and long distance, must be prepared for physical work and be willing to assist in the factory when required and must hold a C1 license or above with no penalty points. Experience drivinga 3.5-tonne box van with a tail lift would be an advantage.
Your standard working times will be Monday to Thursday 08:00 am to 16:30 pm and Friday 08:00 am to 15:30 pm (39 hours per week), but some flexibility will be required to match delivery schedules.
This is a temp-to-perm position for the right person who shows the right attitude and aptitude. Immediate start is available with a starting pay rate of at least £10.25 per hour. Overtime is paid at a premium.
