Join Our Team as an HR Advisor
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for driving positive change? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic HR Advisor to join our team in Macclesfield. As a key player on the HR Service Desk, you’ll provide expert guidance on employee relations (ER) and contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that align with our business goals.
This is a 10 to 12 month fixed term position - Immediate start available
What you'll be doing
- Provide expert ER advice to line managers and employees, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Manage complex cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, escalating as needed.
- Coach and empower line managers to build their HR confidence and skills.
- Lead and support HR projects, including diversity, policy updates, and organisational change.
- Offer strategic HR insights to leaders on compliance, employment law, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve the People Vision.
- Ensure all communications and documentation are precise, engaging, and legally compliant.

- A solid HR background and proven ER expertise is essential in this role
- CIPD qualification (or working towards them) is desirable.
