Kennel assistant required for very busy boarding and rehoming kennels.

This post is to cover maternity leave for minimum 10 months, possibility of becoming permanent. immediate start.

Duties to include cleaning and maintaining kennels. Feeding and exercising of dogs, administering medications as and when required paying particular attention to accurate administration and recording. Dealing with customers and the public, admitting and discharging of dogs in an organised and professional manner.

Hours to include weekend and bank holiday working.

In order to be considered for this post applicants must have the following:

- Own transport as it is not possible to reach this location by public transport at the times required.

Either kennel experience or an animal related qualification.

Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and individually to a consistently high standard, prioritising the needs and welfare of the dogs in our care at all times.

Please not I am looking for a responsible dedicated hard working individual for this post. The successful applicant must be self motivated and have the ability to work in what can be a fast paced and busy environment,

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22 per week
