**Position**: Transport Administrator / Booking clerk

**Reporting to**: Transport Manager

**Shift requirement**: 8:30am - 17:30 Monday to Friday

We currently have a vacancy for a Transport Administrator / Booking Clerk within our Transport Department.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience within a 3PL environment who can demonstrate an established working knowledge of the logistics industry.

Duties will include:
Ø Scanning vehicle check sheets from the previous day’s work

Ø Pricing DPD parcels and checking invoices on a weekly basis

Ø Updating DPD KPIs on a daily basis

Ø Managing DPD returns

Ø Organising collections and deliveries

Ø Customer service - answering customer queries, providing PODs and carrying out any necessary investigations

Ø Liaising with customers/hauliers/warehouse staff

Ø Updating jobs on in house transport system

Skills & Experience

Ø Previous transport administrative experience, ideally in the 3PL environment.

Ø Good working knowledge of WMS systems.

Ø Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Ø Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Ø Analytical and good problem solving skills

Ø Ability to work under pressure as an effective member of the team

Ø Excellent customer service skills

Ø Uses initiative and highly motivated

Ø Keen eye for detail.

You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers and you will be working closely with the Transport team as you ensure the customer's needs are met, so it is essential that you are confident dealing with people over the telephone and face to face.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
