The role
London or Manchester (Hybrid working model, 2 days a week office based, 3 days remote)

Fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role as a Service Domain Lead with DCC. DCC requires an experienced Architect to be the Design Lead for DCC to Programmes to drive development, improvement and maintain & own the evolving end to end architecture. The Service Domain Lead role will be centred on the Central Switching Service, supporting its evolution and continuous improvements.
What will you be doing?
- Ensuring all services underpinned by technologies developed to achieve a single vision and a controlled set of integrated designs through a Systems Engineering standard approach.
- Ownership of key DCC and stakeholder requirements and the resultant DCC Service Providers design artefacts - High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, and Interface Specifications.
- Development of a roadmap adopting and/or designing new functionality and features to support and reflect market evolution and future direction through a Systems Engineering approach.
- Ensuring service design is underpinned by common standards and controls used by DCC and its service providers.

What are we looking for?
- Strong experience in a Service Domain Lead or Lead Architect role
- Smart Metering experience, specifically REC and DESNES experience, essential to this role
- Excellent stakeholder management, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholder groups, including non-technical audiences up to and including C Level executives and industry bodies.
- Experience of leading design activities across multi-disciplinary teams for complex, multi-technology, multi-party solutions.
- Experience in functionally leading design resources to deliver a cohesive end-to-end architecture.
