About The Role**Hours of work**: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri

**Location**: Brentwood, Essex

As a result of continued growth in the Telecom Division the business requires a Commercial Assistant to support an existing Framework with one of our key and long established clients. This position will be predominantly working in our East area based in Brentwood, Essex, covering the East and South regions on a recently awarded contract. Experience in a high-volume transactional environment, would be advantageous. Reporting directly to Senior Quantity Surveyor and forming part of the wider commercial team. The key responsibility of this role is to provide administrative and analytical support on varying levels.

**Roles & responsibilities**
- Ensuring weekly Subcontract cost trackers are updated inc. highlighting any recharges to be made.
- Validating weekly timesheets submitted.
- Analyse Subcontract inputs.
- Liaising with subcontractors.
- Advising on account queries.
- Liaising with varying levels of management.
- Assist the commercial department on adhoc duties.
- Monitor and record cost ledger on a weekly basis.
- Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing weekly and monthly CVR reporting.
- Work with internal departments to further develop any system improvements, integration, and reporting tools.

- Able to adapt to Ad-hoc tasks when they arise, multi-tasking when necessary.

- Be able to demonstrate a professional approach and work on own initiative.
- Needs to be able to communicate and have relations with Subcontractors & internal Operations, Commercial and Finance managers, and directors on regular basis across Telecom Division.
- Strong Excel Skills are beneficial for this role.
