Process Worker

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Manufacturing PVC material or component parts to required production standards.
- Assisting with the start up of machines to begin the production process.
- Operating production machinery or making parts by hand.
- Observing the operation of machinery, reporting any faults to the appropriate machine operator or line manager.
- Inspecting products during or post-production.
- Reporting any quality issues to the appropriate machine operator or line manager.
- Removing product from machines (manually or using a hoist).
- Removing waste material from machines.
- Updating MAX system records as required.
- Cleaning down machines and keeping work area tidy.
- Complying with company and departmental quality standards and procedures.
- Complying with company Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
- Other duties as directed by the line manager.

**Knowledge, skills and qualifications**
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
- Basic IT literacy an advantage.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Effective communicator.
- Quality driven.
- Safety conscious.
- Qualifications in numeracy and literacy and/or relevant NVQ level 2 qualifications desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.64-£11.07 per hour
