ND Services provides first class workshop facilities for car and commercial vehicle repair and servicing and industry leading roadside breakdown and recovery services from reading, across the M4 Corridor and Oxfordshire.

**Role overview**:
If you are selected as our Service Controller you will be the link between our customers and the workshop, and you will manage them from the beginning of their job to the end. You will schedule all work coming through our workshop such as, services, repairs DOT inspections, Pre-MOT’s and class 4,5 and 7 MOT’s. We would also expect you to up-sell additional products and services to the customer, as ensuring all invoicing is accurate and timely.

The successful applicant must have a like for like background, with proven experience as a Service Controller. They will have a positive attitude, strong communication and people management skills and be able to demonstrate that they can control our workshop and Technicians efficiently.

This is a busy but rewarding role, requiring a committed and reliable work ethic, alongside a desire to enjoy the challenges whilst working within a great team. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday starting at 8am and finishing at 17:30.

**The role’s Key Responsibilities are**:

- Interpreting customer requirements, self-diagnosis, concerns, and comments and liaising with technicians.
- Planning, booking/scheduling; MOT’s, DOT’s, Services and Repairs.
- Raising job cards.
- Liaising with customers about any additional work required and securing their commitment.
- Estimating time and costs associated with repairs.
- Responding to customer requests.
- Tracking vehicles through the workshop.

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience as a service controller or service advisor.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to handle a pressurised environment.
- Previous experience within the Service Advisor/ Controller role - 1 Year minimum.
- Basic level of mechanical awareness (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- Organised with the ability to self-manage
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Motivated to forge a long-term career with us.
- A full UK drivers’ licence
