**Job Title: Part-time Night Residential Child Care Worker **(for the role of Night RCCW experience and qualification are not necessary - if you're a naturally caring, motivated and want to make a difference to children's lives, we'd love to hear from you).

**Hours per week: Approx. 18.5.**

Job Purpose:
To ensure the needs of all young people in the home are met by providing a consistent and efficient service congruent with the organisation’s aims, objectives and philosophy.

Key Outputs:

- To ensure that the young people are treated with concern, respect, and integrity.
- To ensure direct services are provided by Northridge Care Group Ltd, working to the fulfilment of programme aims, objectives and therapeutic goals.
- To contribute to the overall effectiveness of the home by non-oppressive, positive role modelling.
- To contribute to the achievement of standards of excellence in care practice and to ensure that all young people in your care are kept safe throughout the night.

Key Activities:

- To ensure the young people with whom you work are supervised as specified in their Care Plan. Ensuring the upstairs area is constantly supervised until as young people are asleep
- To assess, identify and evaluate the ongoing needs of the young people and contribute to the production of integrated plans and programmes developed to meet those needs.
- To observe statutory and agency policy.
- To ensure that all relevant information is obtained, collated, and filed. Records must be kept up to date and accessible.
- To prepare reports as required.
- To contribute to your own professional development by keeping abreast of national developments in childcare policies and practice.
- To assist the young person with budgeting, cooking, personal hygiene and to maintain high standards in their accommodation. To ensure the home is kept clean and in good condition.
- To attend, as necessary, statutory, and organisational reviews.
- To ensure health needs of the young people are met.
- To provide advocacy for the young people.
- To work closely with others to ensure the rights and needs of the young people are met.
- To participate in training as required.
- To contribute to regular personal supervision.
- To attend team meetings.
- To manage delegated finances appropriately and responsibly, ensuring accurate receipts are submitted.
- To complete any other relevant duties as required and directed by your line manager.

Key Challenges:

- To provide high quality services that meet the needs of the vulnerable damaged young people.
- To ensure maximum service provision from the efficient use of resources.
- To develop innovative work and creative programmes.

**Job Types**: Part-time

**Overtime is available, paid at time and a quarter**

**Bank holidays
- Paid at time and a half***

Extra bonuses available:

- Attendance bonus**:£250** for 12 months of no sickness. **£125 **for 6 months of no sickness.
- Ofsted bonus**:£100** for a good rating. **£200** for outstanding rating per year.
- Refer a friend scheme: Earn up to **£400** **£100 **when they start with us, **£100** when they stay with us for 3 months and **£200** when the friend passes their probation period.
