RAC are launching our new **“We Come to You”** mobile SMR (service, maintenance, repair) service, and we are looking for experienced Mobile Mechanics to join our ranks as** **#OrangeHeroes**
In this role you will bring the garage to our customer's driveway or a safe place of work Taking out the stress of people having to find time in their day to get to a garage for any maintenance needed on their vehicles. We’ll provide you with a fully kitted out vehicle with all the tools you’ll need to enable you to deliver an exceptional service every time.

**As a Mobile Technician with **RAC** **you’ll**...**
- Carry out servicing / repairs at a convenient and safe location as per the customer’s request
- Be able to work unsupervised and can take ownership of members' problems and provide a solution
- Keep up to date with training and technical developments of cars whilst maintaining a knowledge of the industry
- Treat all customers professionally and courteously which ensures RAC’s high reputation is maintained
- Support other SMR Technicians in the field, learning and defining best practice to ensure we are operating effectively and with safety being a key
- Continuously improve practices and ways of working to drive and champion efficiencies and knowledge
- Be able to work under pressure and to see a job through to completion
- Have a flexible approach to the required service delivery to meet the needs of the business
**What **you’ll** need...**
- Knowledgeable about the Mobile SMR product, market, and direction
- Level 3 City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ etc. In relevant study
- Fully flexible to be able to deliver an exceptional service outside office hours when required
- Experience of working remotely and delivering service
- Demonstrated good relationship skills across a wide team
- Ability to deal with customers at all levels
- Planning, organising and prioritisation skills
- Practical working experience within the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles including the ability to use diagnostic procedures
