Responsible for:
Manufacture and Assembly in accordance with the company quality and engineering standards.

Purpose:
To achieve the business objectives to manufacture quality products, on time and to budget.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Produce quality mechanical products from manufacturing/fabrication packages in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure manufacturing is on schedule and in accordance with the company quality and engineering standards.
- To develop open and constructive working relationships with all colleagues.
- Work safely at all times and in accordance with the company standard
- Mechanical engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes.
- Ability to weld is advantageous but not essential.
- Good organisational ability.
- Communication skills.
- Persistence and ability to achieve results under pressure.
- Quality focused.
- Being flexible and honest.

Working Conditions:

- Workshop environment
- Required to exceed normal working hours and be flexible. Systems and Equipment Used:

- Various hand held power tools.
- Hand tools.
- Confined spaces
- Workshop machinery, Lathe, Pillar drill, Band saw, bench grinder, hydraulic press etc.

£11.50 per hour

This is a temporary position with a possibility of turning permanent.

Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm

Friday 7.30am-1.30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
