**Exciting Opportunity: Head of Business Change at Nash Tackle**
We are looking for a strategic and visionary Head of Business Change to join our team at Nash Tackle, the leading name in creating innovative fishing equipment and accessories for anglers across the globe. Based at our headquarters, this role offers the chance to steer organizational change and contribute to our ongoing success.
**Role Overview**
As the Head of Business Change, your primary objective will be to lead, design, and implement strategic business change initiatives across the company. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the adoption of change management processes, driving efficiencies and achieving business excellence. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, aligning business change projects with our strategic goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
Strategic Leadership:
- Assist the Board/Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for business transformation initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with the SLT and Senior Management Team (SMT) to prioritise initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Programme Management of the Value Creation Plan (VCP)
Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and organisational structures
- Develop change management plans, communication strategies, and training programs to support the implementation of changes
- Work closely with the IT Manager to support the business change program associated with the implementation of Project Titan (the new ERP platform)
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of business transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success
- Take the lead role on specific VCP initiatives
- Lead / manage other multi-functional change management programmes as required
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leadership, department heads, and operational staff
- Work closely with other members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) on end to end service and process improvements, identifying and implementing process efficiency and automation opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and support on business change initiatives
Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business change initiatives
- Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of processes and systems
Team Leadership:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
- Contribute to the provision of a safe and healthy workplace
**Skills, Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Technical Attributes and Knowledge
- Experienced senior manager with excellent project management and interpersonal skills
- At least 5 years project management / business process improvement experience
- Project Management training - Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
- Experience of Salesforce and other ERP packages
- Experience of project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or equivalent)
- Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers and stakeholders across all levels
- Hands-on approach, promoting team empowerment, able to anticipate barriers and risks and develop practical solutions
- Customer centric, ensuring a balance between commercial and customer needs
- Able to drive change by linking to organisational values, selling benefits and creating buy in
- Able to challenge openly to achieve and support change culture
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken with the ability to write reports and presentations for senior management
- Experience of managing and mentoring direct reports and other staff
- Numerate, strong analytical skills and ability to develop financial business cases
- Full drivers licence
