**E-Learning Editor and Author - Inside IR35**

**Location: Shrivenham (1 day per week in office)**

**Description**:
The Defence Academy requires a digital content author to increase its current capability in supporting the Defence Academy’s digitisation programme.

**This role is within the Content Learning Design team (CLD) and currently working to the SO1 CLD Team Leader and will include**:

- Analysing written content requirements and documenting appropriate writing style for the audience
- Researching, creating, editing, curating/adapting written content (including questions, feedback and assessments) employing written techniques such as analogies to explain complex information, and written in an engaging style suitable for online learning. To include supporting material such as ‘How-to’ guides, storyboards for video and audio
- Implementing elearning editorial strategies, standard operating procedures and content standards to ensure content complies with MOD and Defence Academy branding, values and ethos
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Sharing your knowledge with the team and wider Academy.
- Good IT skills as you will be working with a range of software and supporting a virtual learning environment
- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
