**The role**

Reporting to the Procurement Manager - Europe West, the Territory Buyer will work 37.5 hours per week split between our Doncaster site and home, some European travel may be required at times. As the Territory Buyer you will be responsible for all local purchases in the Territory that you are responsible for. You will support local stakeholders in fulfilling their purchasing needs and delivers added value (savings and other improvements). This concerns all sourcing and contracting not managed by Category Teams. You will foster supplier relationships associated with the territory under management and will work closely with the stakeholders in all functional areas to deliver benefits across the specific procurement areas. You will manage the innovation process with local suppliers and to align on long term development needs. You will also drive supply base reduction, locally and in collaboration with Category Teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Source and contract for territory procurement needs. Align where necessary with the category managers of specific -sub-categories
- Support European-wide category activities, focusing on the benefits achievement and plans related to the all relevant -sub-categories
- Oversee and deliver selection strategies, processes and management of key local suppliers
- Develop and manage relationships with key groups of territory business stakeholders
- Manage the network of Territory representatives for activities or projects
- Coordinated and aligned methods with territory Supply Chain Team(s) to continuously monitor and enhance sub-contract partners and 3rd party vendors
- Lead and implement projects for continuous Procurement performance improvement
- Supervise accurate & timely reporting on key metrics to business stakeholders
- Supply Base reduction

**Profile**
- GCSE standard or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent
- A Levels or equivalent in relevant disciplines
- CIPS qualification
- Degree educated or equivalent is desirable
- Business experience, with particular understanding of procurement and finance
- Expertise related to managing international teams
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and argue persuasively for a course of action
- Strong problem solving and analytical expertise
- Project management skills
- Proficient in English (written and oral)
- Worked in an International environment
- Effective and pro-active communication across all mediums to a wide audience
- Skilled influencer
- Excellent analytical skills
- Manufacturing and inventory management experience in a high-volume environment
