The Talent Set are happy to be partnering with an top UK charity to find their new Senior Digital Marketing and Communications Officer.

The charity offers a truly flexible working environment with the option of fully remote home-based working. Hybrid working patterns will be available dependent on location in regional hubs throughout the UK.

The Senior Digital Marketing and Communications Officer will play a key role in delivering our charity’s marketing communication activity. You will be responsible for the development of campaign ideas, content and messaging and assist in the execution and reporting of multi-channel communication activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of campaign ideas, content and manage the execution and reporting of multi communication activities.
- Manage our national and business development campaign activity and co-ordinate our regional campaign activity run by our regional manager network
- Work with the wider marketing communications team to lead execution planning for tactical campaigns within agreed budgets to agreed performance indicators.
- Evaluate and report on campaigns to develop insights to inform ongoing approach.
- Brief and manage agencies to support the delivery of campaigns, develop and create assets for all platforms and support activity as required
- Understand how to devise a social media strategy for the organisation ensuring that the charity is utilising and embracing all new social channels as and when necessary
- Support internal communications activity and oversee the delivery of the organisation’s staff newsletter via the Marketing Communications Assistant
- Day-to-day administration and reporting of local marketing and community engagement/recruitment expenditure.
- Ensure all campaigns are tracked, measured, and optimised using our internal enquiry database, Google analytics and insight from the local teams.
- Developed skills in writing, editorial and communicating
- Experience of strategic communications thinking, with the ability to identify strategies based on audience analysis and understanding of communication and engagement channels
- Digital skills including some experience of using digital and social channels to engage audiences
- Experience of integrated communications activity using a variety of channels
- The ability to establish objectives and provide strategic communications advice and a communications service that responds to business needs
- The ability to build relationships to support the media team in telling stories and engaging new audiences and customers
- Experience of writing for a range of digital and offline channels, and able to adapt writing style
