Outreach Recovery Worker

If you have a compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others, you could be just what we're looking for. Our Wigan & Leigh service are looking for an Outreach Recovery Worker to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help.
We provide free and confidential support to people experiencing issues with drugs or alcohol. We work with people on their own goals, whether that's staying safe and healthy, making a small change or stopping an unwanted habit Check out what our Wigan and Leigh sites have to offer here Please note, this role is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026, and working hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with some occasional work until 7pm on a rotational basis.
